Creating Art
I am young, and she is old.
I see the beauty in it now.
I have brown skin, and she has black skin.
I see the beauty in it now.
I am short, and he is tall.
I see the beauty in it now.
I am a professional, and he is a custodian
I see the beauty in it now.
I am Christian, but she is a Muslim.
I see the beauty in it now.
She has a mom and a dad, but he just has a mom.
I see the beauty in it now.
I am right handed, and you are left handed.
I see the beauty in it now.
You are different, and so am I!
I can have started to see diversity now.

Stacey, Awesome poem. Good luck to you in all your endeavors.
ReplyDeleteStacey,
ReplyDeleteGreat poem. We are all the same, but all different. What a boring world it would be if everyone was exactly alike! Good job.
I agree with your message in this poem Stacey, differences should be seen as beautiful and not weird or ugly as we sometimes see them. Is what makes us special and at the same time the same, because their is no human being the same as the other, and we should all try to live together in love and respect.
